Welcome

The First International Student Conference on Medical Geology and Environmental Health: Latin America Edition aims to become the first in a series of conferences promoting bachelors, masters and doctorate/PhD students from all Latin America to present their research in environmental health and medical geology fields. The conference will offer to develop collaborations and exchanges with international experts in the mentioned fields and will promote presentation skills in English.

Author Guidelines

  • Submissions should follow the Abstract form. 
  • Authors should present their Oral Presentations within 10 minutes maximum.  
  • As well as the reviewing process is finished, the author of each paper will be notified of the result by e-mail. 
  • Authors are required to follow the reviews to improve their paper before their final submission.

Registration is open for the two-day online workshop of The Clay Minerals Society: 

'Clay Minerals in Healthcare Applications'.


Registration and further information is available at https://www.clays.org/2021-workshop/. There is no charge to register, but joining instructions will only be available to those who do so. 

The programme is based on two special issues of Clays and Clay Minerals: ‘Clay Minerals in Health Applications’ and ‘Clay Minerals in Healthcare’ to be published in 2021 and 2022 and incorporating contributions by colleagues from Qing Yang Institute for Industrial Minerals, China.
